Our Founding:
East End Excursions was established in 2003 to offer wine enthusiasts the most personalized access to the top wineries on Long Island. Co-directors Jean Fitzgerald and Susan Wilber worked together at the world-renowned Restaurant Lutèce with celebrated chef Eberhard Müller, co-owner with his wife Paulette of Satur Farms in Cutchogue, NY. Chef Müller introduced the culinary professionals to the viticulture industry on Long Island’s East End.

Our Experience:
Both Jean and Susan have extensive backgrounds in high-end culinary event production, not only with small private parties of food and wine connoisseurs, but with major corporations, non-profit organizations, restaurants and wineries. Jean Fitzgerald holds an MA from Columbia University. Susan Wilber is a former Wine Director for Ark Restaurants Corporation and a former General Manager of Lutèce. Susan orchestrates prestigious culinary events each year for clients that include the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., the German Wine Information Bureau, and a host of wineries and prominent individuals.
